Catalyst Action Fund promotes racial justice through elections and civic engagement. We work to advance our movements by engaging in the electoral and policy arena.
In 2019, after 20 years of supporting white organizers to act boldly and accountably in movements for collective liberation led by people of color, Catalyst Project decided to launch Catalyst Action Fund, a 501(c)4 organization, to support racial justice organizers who do work around elections and policy.
As Catalyst Action Fund, we have an opportunity to support these developing leaders to become as powerful and clear-eyed as possible about the power of organizing, to understand the necessity of centering racial justice and of being in the struggle for the long haul. We will collaboratively develop trainings in states across the country to support local grassroots groups who know their communities and will be organizing for the long haul.
